they are the .001% who have gotten all the gain of the last 30 years.
They are the ones who promote mandatory minimum sentences for possessing any Mary Jane.
They do this to fill the beds in their private prisons.
They profit on imprisoning citizens and from "allowing" them to work for 12 cents an hour.

Slave labor is alive and living in Corporate Murika.

Do people not remember 2008, and how bad it was before then?

Martinez Report: "As a point of reference; U.S. debt grew 86 percent under the W. Bush administration. It grew a proportionally diminished 35 percent under the current administration, according to the Treasury Department."

By sheer proportions, we're easily better off now.

I never really thought the purpose of government is to make me, personally, "better off".

In the six months before the president was elected, we lost 3.5 million jobs, today we’ve created 4.5 million private sector jobs. The stock market was at 8,457 - today its over 13,000 and today the US auto industry is the number one auto industry in the world.

Add to that the early impact of ObamaCare on the most at risk Americans and the answer is a resounding yes.
