HUffington PostAnthony Scaramucci says President Donald Trumps meltdown is going to get a whole lot worse.
On Wednesday night, the former White House communications director who was fired after just 10 days on the job said on CNN that Trump was looking at his future and the future does not look good for him.
As more facts unfold about Syria, as more facts unfold about the people that have been arrested recently, and the conjoinment of all those issues over there, its going to be devastating for the president, he said.
Scaramucci also predicted that Republicans in the Senate will soon turn on Trump and force him out.
The criminal activity will be so great that the GOP, and there will be 20-plus senators wholl say, OK, I cant take this anymore, he said.

(983 posts)To even imply this is possible is naively giving republicans far too much credit.
Trump will see the 2020 election through.

(2,227 posts)The moosh is pretty. But that is the ONLY thing he has going for him, and that is temporary. But hey, just another good use for duct tape...
He may be correct (I think it is too late, the party has swirled around the bowl and is already down, out of sight, into the sewer drain), but being prescient now does nothing to atone for his part in helping to bring this all about.
And empty pretty boys are "a dime a dozen"...

(10,053 posts)and how that may scare or embolden the repub senators to vote one way or another. That being said 20 repub senators are not up for reelection until 2022 and 10 more are not up for reelection until 2024, so those 30 may not feel the same pressure to defend trump for his maga votes like the ones who have to defend their seats next year. Crazy as it seems, the mooch may be right this time...

(35,699 posts)Hoping he is correct but i do not understimate the ability of Republicans to stick their fingers in their ears and cover their eyes when it comes to T-Rump.
