My God this is so pathetic it's unbelievable.

I have been saying for a long time that Trump is as dumb as a 4th grader, but I was wrong, it's even worse... he is dumber than the kid who flunked the Fourth grade for three years in a row

And just to top off the stupidity.. the reason we have this letter is because Trump is so incredibly stupid he thought releasing it would somehow help him, or make him look good??!

2. It's embarrassing

The fact that Trump handed out copies of this letter, proof that he was being tough on Erdogan is almost beyond belief. It does, indeed, read at the level of a 4th or 5th grader. I understand that McCarthy read this, too. Equally clueless. Erdogan and his people must be laughing their asses off. Any wonder Erdogan said he will refuse to meet with Pence and Pompeo? As a country, we're being represented by fools.

I suppose this is what Trump calls diplomacy and/or winning??

5. Tough Guy Trump Can't Keep a Confidence

In the first paragraph, he repeats his threat to destroy the Turkish economy. He refers to Pastor Brunson, the evangelical who Turkey imprisoned for a couple years claiming he was involved in terrorism, I think it was. So Tough Guy Trump didn't let Erdogen have Gullen (sp?), but there were sanctions against a couple of high ranking Turkish treasury officials. This is Trump's "threat portfolio," LOL. He goes from saying no and issuing a couple sanctions all the way to destroying the economy of an entire country.

Baby steps, Donnie.

The other item that struck me is how he drops the confidential tidbit about General Mazloum, a Kurdish general, and says (psst!) the General might be willing to make some concessions. Then he hands out the letter to the entire world.

Ya' gotta' love that level of confidentiality.

7. Yep, it's almost as if he's getting dumber by the day. That letter IMO is another article of...

impeachment. It's so embarrassing, so revealing of the stunted level of intelligence of the president of our country. It's the same as when he released the non-transcript of the phone call to the Ukrainian president, which he thought exonerated him.

His brain is failing him but his megalomania and narcissism delude him into thinking he is being brilliant. He needs to be removed from office now.

I saw on the news this morning that they're sending Pence to Turkey to "smooth things over"??? I think that's what they said. All I could think of was that this is the GOP's plan to ensconce Pence in the WH if/when Dump leaves, and he will be leaving one way or another before the end of his term after this fiasco.
