When Trump leaves office my home state of New York is going to be waiting with indictments. We already know of one indictment that is waiting for him. The one that sent Cohen to prison.
There are many investigations going on in NY. SDNY, Manhattan DA office, New York State AG office all have investigations going. There is a good chance they will nail Trump for tax fraud and maybe bank fraud.
There are a lot of powerful people in New York who want to nail Trumps ass to the wall. Remember Trump attacked states like New York with his vindictive policies. Cuomo and the AG of New York are not going to cut Trump any slack when he leaves office. I can't wait for the day Trump leaves office.

You can't leave Americans hanging for justice too long. We are an impatient bunch. If he escapes, the entire country will be unsatisfied and hard questions will be asked about who supported and then protected him.

If this sounds familiar, its because Trumps former lawyer Michael Cohen testified to Congress that this is a pattern with Trump. It was my experience that Mr. Trump inflated his total assets when it served his purposes, Cohen said, and deflated his assets to reduce his real estate taxes. We have lots of evidence of Trump buying a property, then contesting his tax assessment by having his lawyers argue that, in fact, it is worth next to nothing.
Its one thing if Trump just brags that some property is worth much more than it is, or even if he makes questionable claims to local governments when he contests his tax bill. But loan applications and tax filings are legal documents, and knowingly lying on them is against the law.
ProPublica found multiple instances in which Trump told banks and tax agencies radically different things about the same properties, the same income streams and the same expenses.

And he cannot pardon any of his criminal cronies prosecuted by states like Florida and New York.
