what the fuck was that car doing up there, it is hard to drive on that balast, I know. was just down on the right of way checking fence yesterday and the UP has pushed a bunch of it down on the access road. a car up there and over the tracks themselves???

(55,007 posts)but I just meant physically getting a vehicle in that position. that wasn't at a road crossing, it was up on a raised bed. you could see even the cop had trouble climbing up there. it is chunky and kind of loose fist sized pieces of rock on a bed about 3 or 4 feet high, then another 10 inches or so of track that is hard to drive a vehicle over (I know I have had to do it before) higher than any parking curb.

(55,007 posts)cop may have seen the car's tail lights, the video is kind of hard to make out but that is what it looked like to me. might have had a call about it too and knew where to look.

(706 posts)That's why I don't like to bash police too much. There are some bad ones, but I tend to believe most are like this guy.
