This is the crazy shit I deal with on my message board

I run a football related message board for the vikings. Like many message boards we have an off topic section and and even more restricted one for "sensitive topics" like politics and religion.

Below is the text of one such reply in it. These people are deranged. I mean these people are seriously out of their minds. How would you deal with this?

5. I frequent a couple of sports forums with "general discussion" sections

It's nutty how much support Trump and the right have among sports fans. I fought them tooth and nail on a previous forum but I was badly outnumbered.

When I joined these two latest forums, I vowed not to get into the political talk. I just stick to sports and try not to picture two-thirds of the forum as redneck mouth-breathers.

Do you have a way to verify ID when they join your message board? I used to see stuff like this on the Yahoo message boards, and many of them were bots. That was before I joined DU three years ago, so I don't know what's on there now.

there is no treason investigation. They are looking into the origins of the Russia probe in the FBI to see if any laws were broken. Has nothing to do with "treason". If he doesn't know what his own party is doing, safe to say his knowledge of the Democrats isn't going to be any more well informed.

23. I was an admin on a college sports board for awhile. What a waste of time that was.

I spent so much time moderating trolls I was mostly just baby sitting. We had a rule against political posts and yet I was deleting them all the time. Most of them were started by right wingers, who then wanted to fight me for deleting their posts. It was not much fun.
