What is next, you saying that focusing on anti-Semitic hate crimes is coming at the expense of christians, simply because there are far, far fewer jews?

The constitution and federal law. LGBT people, by and large, have none - AND - more important - aside from marriage, discrimination is perfectly legal. (The exception is states that have enacted non-discrimination laws, or policies of private companies.)

LGBTQ rights are just as important as women's.

We'll find out soon enough from SCOTUS on just where we all stand. One is whether someone can be fired for being gay, believe it or not. The other is in regards to a woman's right to choose.

We're all in this together.

LGBT individuals have neither.

It is already a violation of both law and statute to discriminate against women on the basis of gender. That is not to say it doesn't still happen all the time - but if I am discriminated against based on my gender, there are at least two means of redressing it in the courts.

In most states, there is not even a single means to redress discrimination - because it is perfectly legal to fire me because of my sexual orientation. It is perfectly legal to bar my admission to both public and private venues because of my sexual orientation. (The exception is when states have enacted antidiscrimination laws, or individual employers have adopted policies.)

housing...sexual discrimination is illegal...LGBTQ discrimination is not. I have a gay daughter and it is definitely worse. I fail to see how working toward LGBTQ equality takes away from women's continuing fight for equality. Your post is rather disturbing... do you have any idea what LGBTQ folks face?

As you're instructing so many that we're missing the point, why not simply lay your point out for us in an obvious manner?

Are you merely projecting your own inability to concentrate on more than one concern at a time onto everyone else, or am I simply "missing the point?"

And if I am indeed, missing the point, then simply lay the point out, support it with data or objective evidence, and allow us this conclusion you repeatedly failed to make yet repeatedly berate us for missing it.

Thanks.
