Trump's OTHER whistleblower: Federal employee claims to have evidence

.........
suggesting 'improper influence' in IRS audit of the President's tax returns

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7507331/SECOND-whistleblower-claims-improper-influence-IRS-audit-Trumps-tax-returns.html?fbclid=IwAR3Wy8NF8KB-LmbflcwKIluQVAn2bzvCebbS1qAuYQ-9gjcsUKzE0Lz5oY4

As the nation fixates on an intelligence whistleblower and what they may or may not know about Donald Trump's call with the Ukrainian President, another whistleblower is waiting in the wings.

A federal employee told the Ways and Means Committee last month of possible evidence of 'improper influence' in the IRS's audit of Trump's tax returns.

The existence of the whistleblower was contained in a quietly-filed motion by committee chair Richard Neal to a federal judge in an attempt to get hold of the President's tax returns, and was not widely reported at the time.

But Nancy Pelosi's announcement of an impeachment inquiry into Trump, which will involve the Ways and Means Committee, has brought the claims into the spotlight.

1. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't audit him at all.

The president is supposed to be audited every year from what I understand.

2. From the OP article - "As the nation fixates on an intelligence whistleblower"

The issue is not that a nation "fixates on" something (and in reality, it is the media, not "the nation", that creates the narrative). The issue is that everyone knows that the corruption is so vast that they could spend years and years plowing through it all but in doing so, risk "losing the moment" to actually "act" on something and bring it to a conclusion. Finding one substantive thing can help to slow if not halt the damage the general corruption is inflicting.

The tax issue is extremely complex due to all the entities related to this President and his family and the sausage-making needed to successfully investigate it "publicly" would take the lay person into the vast weeds of the tax code, causing them to tune out. IMHO it is something that will be investigated but should be done so from a criminal standpoint and is not necessarily something that would see some gain in resolution from a Congressional standpoint.

There are many instances of "interference" - hell we had one earlier this month with the interference with the NWS hurricane forecasting, helping to sow panic in a state about a phantom impact that was essentially a "blooper". But, that "blooper" then resulted in over a week's worth of time that featured a blizzard of lies and justifications that essentially served to discredit the meteorological scientific community, in order to cover for a simple misspeak.

I think the goal here was to find ONE egregious issue, that could be described in simple terms to a reluctant public that has tried to tune all of this out, and then get some "verdict" so to speak, to put on the record even if no conviction happens in the Senate due to the hyperpartisanship (but that can become election fodder in the future).

6. That's probably all the "public" needs to know

but the media won't stop there and will eventually obfuscate the issue by writing many column inches on it that divert from something simple that is an open and shut case!

As a note however, the Manhattan D.A.'s office is on the cusp of getting copies - the drop-dead date at the moment being October 7th after an agreement was reached regarding the subpoena demands... and that suggests that the "audit" argument is probably bogus (but they are awaiting a federal court ruling should one happen before October 7th).

*Knowing*, proving and having wide spread public acceptance (and understanding) is difficult to reconcile when there are so many questionable and legally arguable issues with tRUMP and his crime family/syndicate. The second step to justice for tRUMP and the crime family will frustrate us all even more. That being, punishment and pardons. Just sayin...

7. Tax returns. I thought California was on the right path when they said a candidate for POTUS......

..... MUST provide their tax returns to be on the California ballot. Deciding to run for POTUS is a voluntary decision. So you have the right to run and be on a state's ballot if you meet their criterion. If you have something to hide you might be a target for blackmail.

Note: I believe the federal government has told California and other states that they can not require that. Hopefully, the courts will overturn that decision.

IMHO I believe we would not be where we are needing to impeach the sitting president if we had seen Trump's Tax returns BEFORE the election.

If you want to be POTUS then you have to pay the price of admission to get the opportunity to run.

I would also like to see ANY candidate for POTUS must go through a complete FBI background check to determine if the candidate can get a top-secret security clearance.

Service members MUST go through an FBI security clearance to for example work on military communication and weapon systems. We shouldn't allow an individual who could be a prime target for blackmail.

Many Americans believe Trump's tax returns would have shown that he has things to hide. That would have made him a target to be compromised. "Kompromat" as the Russians call it.

8. After exposing this act of treason , and a extreme breach of National Security

By this illegitimate president , all phone call recording and all transcripts have to be examined very completely to assure this hasn't been done many times , and to expose any corrupt illegal acts further weakening our National security, or we can't be safe from what trump and his people have done. All phone calls , from exposing his crime he committed , now need full exposure , and examination with no limitations or any excuses from trump, he's caught , so now it's a matter of has this been going on with him and Putin, Kim, or mobs, which is very highly suspected. It might expose a lot more than just election fraud. The American people have a right to know all of trumps crimes, especially against OUR country.

Then make up false claims against them, then leak the name to the press so he can incite his base wit and use them and Barr to harass them , and instill fear onto them. His pattern of being corrupt are putting a target on his back for prosecutors.
