General Discussion

In one instance, one of the reporters asked Joe Biden a question about something that he had said 40 years ago. It may have been relevant, but I sort of think that if you have gone 40 years without repeating the mistake, it might be time to let it go?
Even on CNN and MSNBC this morning, they are still playing and talking about the "gotcha" moments.
My main criticism of the debate last night was the way some of the reporters would interrupt the candidate right in the middle of her most important response of the night. Don't invite them to a debate and then shut them down when responding to a question.
Whichever candidates emerge from this debate, should be aware not to play the Republican and the media game of attacking each other, while Donald Trump is permitted to attack anyone he wants.
People know where the Democrats stand on the issues. They know where Donald Trump stands. That is what the next debate should be about, in my opinion.

(507 posts)Joe Biden has been in Politics for well over 40 years, but how can you, as a Journalist, ask a question for an action 40 years ago, when you have a Candidate on the stage who isn't even 40 years old? Seems unfair to me. Would you as a Journalist ask Mayor Pete what he did when he was 1 year old and expect a valid response?
Just trying to put this into perspective.

IMHO, time to speak in big ideas. And past time to start running against trump.
