Has anyone watched "Hitler A Career" on Netflix ?

It was difficult not to relate it to present times.

Watching Hitler shock the world with his behavior. His march into Sudetenland to take back the land for the Germans and later, his Blitzkrieg into Poland, as the world watched helplessly. His aggression could not be stopped, so some countries tried to appease him, such as Britain and France.

The more he got away with, the worse he became. He was idolized by so many people. And they followed him right up to the end.

It was very informative with a lot of video I had never seen before and gave a different perspective on the madman.

And they tried so hard to go along to get along, trying to isolate themselves from Hitler. It did not work. As you say, "The more he got away with, the worse he became."

They felt very lucky to have escaped with their lives. They were scared to death of Hitler.

In retrospect, now that we know how it all ended, we'd like to believe that the world was watching. But really the world wasn't paying much attention to him, until he marched his troops into Poland that is. In the US especially we were concentrating on building our economy back up after the Depression, and most Americans had no interest in what was going on in Germany. There were so many times that Hitler could have been smacked down early in his regime. Even the British didn't believe Hitler would amount to much. In the 1930's he just seemed like barky little dog that was a pain in the butt to deal with. Until all of a sudden, he wasn't.

"Decades of hate radio and fox propaganda tv! Why did they do nothing? How did they not see it coming?"

We worry if trump will take us to some point where it's "too late", but if he does it will really just be the point where it's obvious. The time to do something was years ago, before a third of the country got brainwashed into thinking that the rest of us were such enemies that allowing Russia to steal an election was somehow the right and patriotic thing to do.

Yes, the parallels are frightening.

The thing about the shitstain denying medical care to immigrant children reminds me of what Hitler did to children who were developmentally disabled. Horrifying, and we’re living it.

Those words are chilling. Trump will only get bolder, more reckless, more evil and hateful. He will never dial it back. We cannot have another four years of this.

It's called Grey Wolf & it's on either Netflix or Prime. It claims Hitler & Gorring made it to Argentina with huge fortunes of looted cash & gold.

Half of the US congress is going along with Red Don and the other half is scared to call him what Trump techically is; a genocidal racist
