Has Someone Already Asked?

Where are the other hundred Democrats in the House?

I saw a report on cable news that there were now 135 votes for impeachment.

That means they only need 83 more votes to have enough votes to impeach? It doesn't mean they will vote to impeach. Only that they have the power to impeach with 218 votes.

What are they waiting on? Isn't it about time to act? Isn't it about time to go on the offensive?

Just today, we read about another abuse of power. He tells his people he will pardon them if they break the law while constructing the wall. Don't worry about environmental laws. Don't worry about eminent domain - just take the land! And if you are charged with a crime, I will pardon you?

Really?

Perhaps the Congress should investigate that story?

Now that they’ve heard from their constituent in person. I expect an uptick in the next couple of weeks.

There are still 100 Democrats that have not committed on the impeachment issue?

I think they need to take a stand. It is time.

They would be voting on an impeachment inquiry, not an impeachment vote on the floor of the House of Representatives. What is so tough about that?

It would send a signal to the Executive Branch that the Democrats have the votes and the power to impeach any time they think is appropriate.

As opposed to the present situation, where they look ambiguous and indecisive and cannot even get a majority in their own Party. They are making the Party look weak.

Just my opinion.

call for impeachment. They’re elected to do the bidding of their constituents, whatever that may be. Especially when the next elections are in a little over a year from now. The ones who have chosen to impeach are doing so because their voters want them to.

I write to my representatives when I want them to do something.

...when we discover a verifiable connection between Russian money and Trump's behavior as a Russian stooge ... and it's widely accepted as treason and called just that.

That discovery would have the same impact as the missing 18 minutes on the Nixon tapes.

If she were to start pushing for impeachment, I think they would follow suit.

... THAT's when they'll change their minds. Also if a few major campaign donors start making noises, but let's be serious: we know that won't happen.
