Oh NO!!! Justice Ginsburg Treated Again For Cancer

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Treated Again For Cancer
August 23, 20192:28 PM ET

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has just completed three weeks of radiation treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, the U.S. Supreme Court disclosed Friday.

The radiation therapy, conducted on an outpatient basis, began Aug. 5, shortly after a localized cancerous tumor was discovered on Ginsburg's pancreas. The treatment included the insertion of a stent in Ginsburg's bile duct, according to a statement issued by the court.

Last time was lung cancer, this time pancreatic cancer. But she's a strong lady. And my uncle survived pancreatic cancer; if he can, she can! Hopefully.

I haven't seen that anywhere else, though I know she had pancreatic cancer a few years ago.

The type my uncle survived...and he had had stomach cancer previously. So, I'm trying to be hopeful.

That was my takeaway when and looked at the article on my phone, but I don't think it was NPR source.

Her first cancer scare was her lung cancer. Thank the universe she's out of the woods on that cancer.

Now she has pancreatic cancer which is just now being revealed, after her first treatment -- she's having a 2nd treatment for it. Thankfully, it's the more contained type of pancreatic cancer.
Fingers crossed.

she can hang on for another few years. Pancreatic cancer is tough though. Killed my favorite guitarist in about 8 months.
