I know people want something like this to be true. But their 'reporting' often is just a recitation of what someone 'claimed', to which they add qualifiers, not a multiple sourced statement of fact.

It also very clearly says: "There's no evidence Trump had any knowledge of Epstein's sordid private life or alleged sex-trafficking activity."

The journalist in question was writing an article for a golf magazine. It would not be surprising if the DM paid him for speaking with them.

It does not appear that he told anyone about this when Epstein was being investigated in 2005-2008, although he says that he would be 'happy to cooperate with the authorities investigating Epstein alleged crimes'.
