And this is how we know that the religious right, at its core, is all about racism and misogyny and it always has been.

They actively ignore his God complex, his blasphemy, the cheating, the immorality, the lying, the pride, and anything else that they would damn as depraved and corrupt (at the very least) in a democratic President, because every day they get to be their real selves under this President. And we get to see what hate and poison has always bubbled underneath the pretence of good people. They are literally in seventh heaven now that the racist in chief is in the White House and they have explicit permission to let their misogyny and racism all hang out…
