Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell fractured his shoulder while at home, his office announced Sunday.

He tripped on his outdoor patio, a statement from spokesman David Popp said. McConnell was treated and released to his home, where he is working.

Local protesters are giving him a lively dose of hell near this house too, per a report in the same paper.

16. It was also just after he was publicly shouted down

with cries of "Moscow Mitch" at an event he was speaking at. So he might be having a diva snit fit, or "working at home" is a very convenient excuse to avoid similar confrontations with the public. I'm only sorry he didn't fall into the deepest and most fiery pit of Hell.
