I want to see one Democrat in the upcoming debates....

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by Omaha Steve (a host of the General Discussion forum).

...look in the camera and call out Donald Trump for his racism and his division of the American people.

If just one candidate can pull themselves away from talking about "Medicare for All", etc, to mention the existential threat that sits in the White House, it will get my attention. It will set them apart from the other nineteen candidates, in my opinion.

Is that too much to expect?

Y'know, with a proliferation of candidates, you'd think one of them would take a flyer. Girard442 Jul 2019 #1
Surely at least one will do so. elleng Jul 2019 #2

I mean, if you don't stand out, you're gonna lose. If everybody is lukewarm applesauce, we all lose.

As to 'medicare for all etc,' we MUST remember that 'kitchen table issues' OFTEN carry the day, and we forget that at our peril.

REMEMBER, the reason we have trump (in addition to russia etc) is/was the constant trump trump trump we heard from the media last time.

But that does not mean we can forget about the threat in the White House.
