I had a strange and scary thought; after trump loses he defects to Russia to avoid prison.

trump knows that he will be indicted by SDNY on January 21st. So after the inauguration of a democratic president on January 20 he gets on his jet and flies to Moscow. Putin gives him a luxurious retirement in exchange for information on nuclear secrets, the CIA, our Nato allies, etc.

Farfetched? Maybe. But these days anything is possible.

If only. He's probably told Putin whatever he's wanted to know already, and reports of very bad memory and empty head are quite credible.

I don't care what would happen to him once gone. Putin could still use him for propaganda and would likely make sure he's maintained in the style to which he's accustomed, just maybe in Murmansk.

Best, though, if he defected it might just act a bit like electroshock therapy on a fair chunk of the not totally demented right.

Trump ran for president because “favors” of the kind only an American president can bestow are what he’s using to pay off his substantial debt to the Russian mafia.

If Trump loses and runs to Russia, the Russian mob will kill him and his entire family within 24 hours of his arrival, and the deaths will be horrific.
