6. My friend and I were walking home with his niece on her bike.

When she was going across the street to the alley to their house the guy comes speeding around the street corner and was intending on doing the same into the alley. It just happened at that moment that his niece's bike stopped moving. Well the guy kept reving his engine and lurching up to her. He was only a couple of inches from her when we were able to pull her away. She had been paralized with fear and could not get out of the way. We called the police. They came and listened to the reports and basically shrugged their shoulders and said there was nothing they could do because she was not injured.

I know they will not do anything about a verbal to adults threat when they will not do anything about a physical threat to a child.
