Hellava leak: Britain's man in the the US says Trump is 'inept': Cables from ambassador say he is 'd

Britain's man in the the US says Trump is 'inept': Cables from ambassador say he is 'dysfunctional' | Daily Mail Online

Britain's man in the the US says Trump is 'inept': Leaked secret cables from ambassador say the President is 'uniquely dysfunctional and his career could end in disgrace'

*EXCLUSIVE: Sir Kim Darroch used secret cables to impugn Trump's character
*Top diplomat warned London President Trump's career could end in 'disgrace'
*Bombshell comments risk angering the notoriously thin-skinned US President
*He describes bitter conflicts in White House as 'knife fights', sources confirmed
*And claims President's economic policies could wreck the world trade system
*Says Presidency could 'crash and burn', 'we could be at start of downward spiral'

Britain's Ambassador to Washington has described Donald Trump as 'inept', 'insecure' and 'incompetent' in a series of explosive memos to Downing Street.

Sir Kim Darroch, one of Britain's top diplomats, used secret cables and briefing notes to impugn Trump's character, warning London that the White House was 'uniquely dysfunctional' and that the President's career could end in 'disgrace'.

His bombshell comments risk angering the notoriously thin-skinned President and undermining the UK's 'special relationship' with America.

In the memos, seen by The Mail on Sunday following an unprecedented leak, Sir Kim:

*Describes bitter conflicts within Trump's White House – verified by his own sources – as 'knife fights';
*Warns that Trump could have been indebted to 'dodgy Russians';
*Claims the President's economic policies could wreck the world trade system;
*Says the scandal-hit Presidency could 'crash and burn' and that 'we could be at the beginning of a downward spiral... that leads to disgrace and downfall';
*Voices fears that Trump could still attack Iran.

In one of the most sensitive documents, Sir Kim writes: 'We don't really believe this Administration is going to become substantially more normal; less dysfunctional; less unpredictable; less faction riven; less diplomatically clumsy and inept.'

Some are complicit. True believers. The rest fear being primaried. Only 1 has had the gumption to admit the obvious publicly. The last thing a Rethug wants is to have to find a private job, so staying elected is their primary objective. It's a fine mess they've gotten themselves in.

That’s the saddest part. But he is the only game they got. There is no other way to maintaining and increasing their power.

They have now bet the farm he can win no matter the means.

But they made a bad bet. He will eventually fall mightily. Literature from Ancient Greece to Shakespeare warm us about this hubris and behavior. And the reason they remain relevant is because humans do not really change.

The only question is the damage he will do before and during his fall.

My greatest fear is the 30 days between histor potential loss and the swearing in of a Democratic President.

I’m not assuming we win. But if we do, and I think we will, those will be perilous times. And no matter what he tries his sycophants will be right there supporting him.

I am for the first time in years glad the states elect the president and the federal government has almost nothing to do with it.

The richest of the rich want this. The Koch bros, the Walton, the Gates and Bezos are all just fine with having these grifters run our government. They either support the Traitor or they enable him. As long as the richest of the rich are making some money, Trump will remain in office.

Take a good long look at the weird fat man who married his sex work. This is the face of capitalism. This is what the supposed top of our society want. This is capitalism animated.

Knock us off the G7 and any other economic platforms. take the trumpskies out of the loop. Oh yeah, and support any action by anyone with the balls to arrest trump, and anyone who tries to prevent the arrest and anyone named as part of the traitorous conspiracy to destroy the U.S.A.

It'll take time, but with the help of our allies, our country can recover. France and Sweden survived nazi sympathizing governments and England survived George III and Cromwell. But this just has to stop. I have impaired relatives and I wouldn't ask them for or expect from them more than they are capable of doing. trump is so impaired he lets anyone who offers him a pet instead of a kick to lead him around by the nose. He doesn't think of the past or live for the future and he can't make decisions more than what flavor of cake he'll eat.

I get it, Sir Kim Darroch doesn't want to disgrace the Crown or the British government. So he sends it in a "secret" cable that gets leaked everywhere around the world.

Just by using all these $10 multi-syllable words he's already made it unintelligible to most of the ChumpWorld anyway. He could have saved time and money by tweeting it.

These are statements from a representative of a government in the middle of a wrong-headed right-wing Brexit war, with many saying that's due to the incompetence of PM Theresa May and divisions in the Tory Party.

Further, it appears they're about to appoint Boris Johnson as the replacement for PM May, who is just as much of an idiot as tRump.

Delighted we heard from Sir Darroch and it is refreshing to hear what we knew but it's also arrogant hypocrisy....

UK's Torys are just like our ReThugs but with fancier words.....

I don't believe this was an accident. I'm sure they have ways of sending information that they can be assured is secret. This was either leaked purposely or transmitted in such a way to make it easy to see. They're sending a message that they are distancing themselves from him. They know something is coming and they don't want anything splashed on their shoes.
