Republicans are on the move. Are we?

Republicans in Florida are launching a program to get out the Latino vote. Republicans in WI are preparing the most aggressive ground game ever to keep WI red. To date, I’ve not seen any Dem. election planning other than “Impeach the MF”, and that won’t win an election.

Excuse my ignorance, but I haven’t seen our strategy come into play. Republicans have their plans established and are starting to implement them. Each day lost can not be taken back. It’s now or never.

I have 3 LatioX , 2 Indian, 3 Asia Households in my Precinct in NJ.

I'm on it, and engaging them.

I think MOST democratic committees across the country are doing this - and leveraging for example - Indivisible Groups to assist.

I defer to this quote from Roy Rogers:
"I don't belong to an organized political party. I'm a Democrat."

We seem to be convinced of 2 things:
1) we can't impeach Trump because ... reasons?
2) we can't say anything about real policies because that might make people choose Trump instead...don't get labeled with the "S"-word whatever you do...

We are running scared and EVERYONE outside of the Democratic Party sees it clearly.
If there was a shadow of the GOP and we were a groundhog, there'd be 6 more weeks of winter EVERY year.

We have gone from a "50-state strategy" to "don't do anything to anger or rile up undecideds against us".

If we do not trim our field from 24 candidates to 5 or fewer by Christmas, this whole thing will devolve into a circus and we'll manage to lose to the worst president in history again. We need to put forth fleshed out ideas and plans on how to implement them, otherwise, why bother?

Another "plan" that simply will not help? Let's play beat up Biden with word games and semantics and being greatly offended that a man prone to verbal gaffes made another one this week...THAT will show the country we are ready to fix the mess and have a vision, right? *sarcasm*

I thought the GOP looked like a circus with 16 candidates. We look equally disorganized & silly at a time when we need to be deadly serious. We need more focus on the Senate & keeping the House, imo. I give our country about a 30% chance of surviving Trump/Barr/McConnell & some days I don't even feel that optimistic.

We are bogged down in a primary right now so it is much more difficult to establish those plans. We don't even know what we are offering yet.

If done well, the primary process can set the stage and seamlessly transition into a national plan.

If done poorly, it can weaken the party and leave us hopelessly behind.

Remains to be seen how this one works out for us. My current feeling is that the abundance of candidates makes it dangerous.

We shall see

just hired two new staffers to oversee a rural voting initiative. I know both people and they will do a great job. FDP is finally paying attention to us Democrats in small red counties!
