Let's give some eqaul time to the 2020 Senate elections.

I would like it if we all took a moment to remember how equally/if not more important the 2020 senate races are. There are too many democrats who are running for president, IMO, that should have considered running for the senate instead.

Who's up for re-election in your state, who's opposing them ?

Who is your pick ?

Almost impossible to underestimate the importance of the Senate majority. One of the reasons why it's so important to have grass roots party organizations (and work with them!). Also why it's so destructive to have purity tests within our own tent. If somebody wants to run in Kansas more on tariffs, trade and tax cuts for the rich .. and less on Medicare for all and the Hyde amendment .. for Gods sake, LET THEM. Not sure about the validity of the argument that presidential candidates should stay home and run for Senate. Heard it bandied about, but .. Is there a specific case? And Joni Ernst reached her sell by date with her bootlicking, party line drivel and cheesy corn-pone folksiness a long time ago. Has done nothing of note in the Senate, and is just flat out a bad politician. Go get her!

Is there still time there? He could be out of the presidential thing fairly early. Or does that just pi** everybody off? I don't know a thing about Lone Star politics

I'll make calls & walk the precinct.

I also participate in Postcards to Voters. They have campaigns almost all of the time, all over the country. Swing Left is also a way to work campaigns other than your own rep/senator. Scroll down at Swing Left to view a map.
