Democrats are impatient. They want to remove the criminal from the White House as soon as possible. Many are ready to impeach right now.
However, others - including Speaker Pelosi - are saying this is not the time.
There will come a time, perhaps sooner than we think. If the House is successful in getting any witnesses before them, they will likely receive new information that will shed new light on the criminal activities of Donald Trump and his criminal organization.
If the House continues to interview witnesses, it is just a matter of time until someone drops a bombshell. When that happens, the floodgates will be open. A majority of Democrats will vote for impeachment.

(2,226 posts)Counsel to release his evidence to impeach trump. Instead the American people get screwed again by Barr and trump to keep us from the truth.. Be patient? We have been. Now its time for justice.

(22,478 posts)crimes and it will be televised. Many people will only then know the extent of what this criminal has done. Right now these people listen to their favorite bullshit right winged liars and they believe them. That will all come into the open as I see it, if impeachment hearings are held.
Remember the thread on here about conservatives being shocked that #45 did the illegal things revealed in the Mueller report; things that they had heretofore not heard of because they only listen to people who feed them lies?
Impeachment hearings will bring all this out into the open.

(111,079 posts)I was not that surprised, when a lady at Justin Amash's town hall, admitted on camera that she had no idea there was anything "negative" about Donald Trump in the Mueller Report. She also admitted that she only listened to "conservative" news. A "news organization" should be telling people about all the useful news. I guess they must have thought the Russian attack upon our elections, with the aid and assistance of the Donald Trump campaign, was not newsworthy??

(68,552 posts)not change due to testimony which will be hard to get as Trump will fight everything...better to get him out in 20.

(2,199 posts)are not as focused on this as we are. It's the end of May, school is out, graduations, summer vacations.
Democrats must have hearings and build a case using Mueller's report as a blueprint.
Impeachment WILL happen.

(28,339 posts)public testimony, coupled with increasingly bizarre and damaging public behavior, add in the wealth of damaging material on him that will be brought forth once Democratic opposition forces are unleashed . . .
Impeachment will happen.

(19,953 posts)House Democrats do not have full unredacted access to the Mueller Report, with the underlying evidence. And there's still no guarantee that they'll get it. Plus they still don't have access to Trump's Tax Returns.
And we are being told that there's no guarantee that Trumpland will obey the law during an impeachment.
So Yes, patience.

(111,079 posts)...just as they are doing right now with the appeals court process, regarding the financial statements of one Donald J Trump.

(6,143 posts)Mueller was limited in the scope of his investigation. The House can expand the investigations. I dont just want to see Trump out of office. I want to see the whole family in jail.

(70,081 posts)till they can get warm bodies on camera testifying to impeachable acts, we got nuthin.
tho it would be impossible for honest people to hide that much evidence for long enough to withstand the process, w these criminals, it is not hard to imagine what they could pull off.
the last thing we need is an impeachment that hits a stonewall before it even get to the floor. we need a couple big ass cracks in the wall, first.
i am immeasurably sad that it has come to pass that too few people can/will read the book, so we are forced to make a movie, but that is, apparently, where we are.

(16,089 posts)you are not one of the "never, ever, will we reach the point of even impeachment investigations" people.
There are a lot of them here.
I can wait, but I dislike the constant nope, never attitude displayed by some.
