But yeah you just keep telling yourself it's all Washington's doing if it helps you sleep at night...

You must know that.

Maduro needs to go, he is not working in the best interest of his people.

If the west is almost unanimously backing Guaido and Maduro's remaining allies are Russia, China, Iran, and Turkey - it should tell you something

This is a 'broken clock is right twice a day' moment

7. The only thing it tells me is that nothing has changed as far as east/west alliances.

The same groups of countries are deploying surrogates internally to wrest control of the resources of foreign countries. It's happened many times in the region. It's nothing new. What would be new is if they let the actual people of the country decide their own internal affairs.

Meanwhile, Maduro has been liquidating dissidents, throwing journalists in jail, hoarding medical aid and his citizens are dumpster diving for daily sustenance....

9. How about letting the people in the country decide.

You are obviously on one side and describe how evil the opposition is but you have to know that it's not all one-sided as far as negative push back.

And anyone trying to compare an autocratic despot like Maduro with a heavily flawed but wildly popular Chavez has lost the plot...

That's anything but a ploy. If that came from high up in the military command you can count Maduro's time left in hours.

Guido is moving to Plan B to get his supporters on the streets. Given the Venezuelan Right's propensity for shooting it's own people (like in the 2002 coup), it looks like they're gonna try to put civilians in the firing line in hopes of giving the US justification to intervene.

13. See my earlier post- I predicted that Guaido was setting the stages for this

Whether it was Maduros people or Guaido's people is another question.

Given how the media covered the 2002 coup and swallowed every piece of propaganda that was fed to it by the coup supporters, I wouldn't put it past them to have the opposition run down Maduro supporters and then try to claim the opposite.

Guaido has been recognized by most of the developed world including all of South America.

I do hope you've got a better pitch than "FALSE FLAG!!!!111" because that would mean all the other times dissident protestors were attacked/killed were false flags, too. I especially hope you've got something backing up such a wild-assed accusation other than conjecture and speculation.

But if you don't think Guido doesn't have a plan on how to spin the media coverage, then you are either pitifully naive or maybe you have other intentions.

Live from Venezuela...

But at least after Maduro, and Chavez before him confiscated all the guns from the people, they left them plenty of rocks to throw to fight their way out of his dictatorial grip.

At least more of the Military are on the side of the people now. This will be over soon.
