5. I just read the link from a post about the article.

The shooter wrote a lot and answered a lot of questions himself in his letter. His family, geneology, background, political views, views of death, etc. Basically until 4 weeks ago he started to "educate himself" on this BS since his parents should have but never did so it is "up to him to educate others".
