Schiff hedges on Trump impeachment, says instead, 'Vote his a-- out of office'

U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and a vocal critic of President Trump, said Friday night that he had “no expectations” that Trump would be indicted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller at the conclusion of the Russia investigation.

“Even if the evidence supported it, because [Mueller] is fundamentally conservative — and I don’t mean left-right conservative — but he was going to follow the established policy. He was not going to make new ground," Schiff said during an appearance on HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher.

"So I didn't think it was realistic to expect that [Mueller] would indict the president," Schiff continued, "and those that did, I think, were unrealistic in their expectations."

Last week Attorney General William Barr released a redacted version of the full Mueller report that cleared the president of collusion with Russia. Nevertheless, House Democrats are continuing their investigations into the president's actions — while Republicans want answers about how the investigation began.

Schiff argued that the report ultimately did prove that Trump was “unfit for the presidency.”

Congress must do its job, but part of its job is to encourage voters to do OUR jobs!

Schiff, Pelosi, et al know that they can impeach Trump 14 times between now and next November, but there's very little chance that he will be removed from office. That means it will be on US to to use our voting power to make sure that he doesn't get a second term. We can expend all of our energy yelling at Congress and relinquish our responsibility to do our part. Congress must hold hearings, conduct investigations and help build the public case for removal or defeat.

It's possible that hearings could shift public opinion in a direction that could lead to a critical mass of Republican Senators feeling pressured to remove him, but that's not real likely. But the investigation will go a long way to helping make the case to the voting public that he must not be reelected. And it will be up to us to get out there and vote him out of office.

We all have jobs to do and plenty of work ahead of us. All hands need to be on deck.

since tRump, republicons and russia have all worked together to successfully corrupt the process.
We should also rely on impeachment as a more likely tool to remove the fool tRump.
