But does trump ever uphold our laws? Possibly trump is threatening witnesses behind the scene.

for forever. There are articles from 2016, reporting the "Apprentice" staff had signed NDA's, and everyone on his campaign did. Not that unusual for paranoid crooks afraid of blowback.
