You know your country is in trouble when the people start asking this question.

What do we do now? Nobody knows what is going happen. Nobody knows the right path forward. We are no longer in control. We now have a date with destiny. Fate is now in control. I knew this would happen the moment Trump was elected. It was the dumbest, most incompetent, most self destructive thing I have every seen the America people do in my lifetime.

What ever happens, we earned it.

of the health of a democracy. Although I supported Sanders in the 2016 primary and voted Clinton in the general, had voter turnout not been the lowest in 40 years, HRC would have won the popular vote and (anachronistic) Electoral College.

The demoralized base of youth voters doomed us. Thanks to tRump's dictatorial efforts, that particular problem won't recur.

Voter suppression was instrumental in the key states where HRC lost by a sliver. Anyone who doesn't factor this into 'turnout' risks a repeat of 2016's suppression of Democratic voters.

Wisconsin’s Voter-ID Law Suppressed 200,000 Votes in 2016 (Trump Won by 22,748)
A new study shows how voter-ID laws decreased turnout among African-American and Democratic voters.
