Trump just reignited his feud with Morning Joe by giving him a childish and insulting nickname

President Trump woke up today and rather than attempting to tackle any of the myriad problems facing the United States, decided to waste another morning watching Fox & Friends. The inane Republican propaganda show is something like a comfort food for the ego-driven Trump, and he tunes in to watch Rupert Murdochs obscenely overpaid sycophants lavish praise on his disastrous administration.
Trump served up some flattery of his own today, and claimed that Fox and Friends is by far the best of the morning political shows on television. Of course, its painfully obvious that the only reason he thinks this is because the Fox hosts never stop complimenting him. The degree to which he is susceptible to rudimentary psychological manipulation is as pathetic as it is dangerous. The president should not be a man who can be so easily steered by a few kind words.
Add your name to demand Senate Republicans allow a vote on the bipartisan bill to make Mueller's report public. We deserve the truth!
Since its Trump, he also used his tweet rant to dust off one of his petty rivalries by taking a shot at Joe Scarborough of Morning Joe, referring to him as Morning Psycho. He pointed out (somewhat correctly) that Scarborough contributed somewhat to his 2016 electoral victory because he gave him free air time on his show.
Trump called Scarborough too Angry Dumb and Sick who runs a really bad show with low ratings. The fixation on ratings is something our reality television president still cant shake after two years in the Oval Office and shows where his moronic priorities lie. He ended the attack with a random shot at CNNs Chris Cuomo, presumably because the popular anchor has been consistently harsh on this circus or an administration.
Once again, Trump comes across as a smallminded man who lacks both the desire and the competency to address any of the things that actually matter to Americans. Every time he tweets he gives us one more reason to vote him out of office.........................................

(11,885 posts)Instead of being played by him again , and instead need to only talk about the other candidates only. They show his tweets which make me turn to something else. Media needs to stop helping him promote his propaganda , and giving him any airtime. It only helps him.

(6,228 posts)I know a lot of folks hate that Morning Joe gave trump air time during the 2016 campaign. However they do not support him and attack him every morning. I wish folks would realize that our country needs all the help it can get.

(2,502 posts)Didn't he just bring up the fast and furious crap talking about how the Obama administration withheld that information for five years and wondering why Trump wasn't talking about it? He knows Trump watches his show and now he's giving him talking points. Never trust a Republican, they are like leopards. They never change their spots.

(343 posts)Maybe it is really just a simple case of unintended consequences. Back when Trump was running, who really took him seriously? He was a joke, calling into the show from his gold toilet. I believe the media fell into "group think" that Trump could never win so put him on, juice the ratings, take the cash, and prepare for 4 years of Hillary. When it all went south the media was left with the horror of Trump, like half of America. Maybe Joe has just come to terms with the Frankenstein he helped create, and is trying to make amends in his own way by coming out strongly against Trump.

They're all part of this reality tv type bullshit media circus - and they laugh all the way to the bank
Zero sympathy or interest in it.

(7,894 posts)Yes, he is president, but that doesn't give him a pass on TOS does it?
I feel that much of what he has posted is just as dangerous and provocative as the proverbial yelling "fire" in a public place. Much of it would also seem to qualify as repeated and public verbal abuse.
I realize this has probably been asked before but TOS applies to any twitter account, no? Civilized speech and all that? Have not others as egregious and excessive been banned? Abuse of the privilege and so forth.
edit: Oh, yeah! I forgot the power of gossip as free advertising for twitter service!
So last century of me.

Insults only give power to the bully when they're successful in upsetting the target.
As a "military brat" who came into many schools in the middle of a school year, i know this to be true. I was a kid that was too small for athletics & wore glasses. EASY target. But i learned quick that when you laugh at the insulter, you take away their power. Worked 100 times for me. Most of them even turned around and became fairly friendly. not that THAT would EVER happen with such a narcissist as Trump
