I have in-laws in the suburbs of Tampa. They and their neighbors are extremely right wing.

(25,464 posts)2. Hillsborough County went 52/45 for Hillary.
It's one of the bluer spots in Florida and has been on the blue side of purple for a few elections now. We also won it in 2012 and 2008.
The suburbs are a little more conservative. Pinellas County, where St. Petersburg is, went 48/47 Trump.

Fox is on every TV. It's sickening. But yes, I know there are blue pockets, thankfully.

Nearly all of the precincts in the city proper went to Hillary.

You see more of this inclusiveness all the time in spite of some hate attacks here and there. I hope news like this ruins their week.
