(86,378 posts)I think it's a kind of wimpy ad.

(797 posts)Lindsey Graham repeating the mantra "Rule of law, rule of law" during the Clinton impeachment hearings. Per Lindsey, it was all about upholding the "rule of law," even if it was a lie about sex. Now that we have a criminal committing real crimes, Lindsey doesn't care about the "rule of law" anymore.

(4,265 posts)I saw a reply tweet that said something like it would have more punch if they called themselves Country Over Party Republicans. But even under the current circumstances they're incapable of being the patriots the situation demands.

(7,411 posts)Considering how commercial breaks are ear-splitting, obnoxious fusillades, silence is as effective as anything these days. It's the auditory equivalent of blank newsprint.

(86,378 posts)strike me as strong enough. "Attempted to Obstruct Justice" just wasn't it. I will have to think about what I would rather see there for that phrase but the one that's there... meh. Of all that he has done and continues to do from the emoluments issues to the security nightmares (pick one) to maga-lotsa and the laundering hole that is. Seriously, I understand that is one charge from the investigation but the wording is in need of attention there. Perhaps there will be others with different messages.
