After Notre Dame fire, donations spike for torched black churches

Hillary once again is at the forefront of social justice awareness and action.

A crowdfunding page for 3 historically black Louisiana churches devastated by arson has seen a spike in donations since Monday's Notre Dame fire, with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton among those highlighting the fundraiser.

Why it matters: Authorities have filed 3 charges of hate crimes and 3 of arson against a white man, Holden Matthews, 21, the son of a sheriff's deputy. The U.S. Attorney’s Office, ATF, and FBI are working with state and local law enforcement on the case. Matthews has pleaded not guilty but is being held in jail without bond.

Good. People are contributing millions for the rebuilding of Notre Dame, which is great, but The Velveteen Ocelot Apr 2019 #3

first--reminding people of these horrible events and second-using her influencing to bring in some money for these churches.

Class, all the way. I will always wonder...what could have been. She is, without any bitterness, a true leader.
