Donald Trump is going to “get himself out of office soon”, a leading Democratic senator has claimed.
Dianne Feinstein suggested the President would quit before he was potentially forced out of office after anti-Trump protesters in Los Angeles demanded to know why more wasn’t being done by Congress to remove him from office.

“We know he is breaking the law every day," a protester asked the 83-year-old political veteran. "He has obvious dealings with Russia. There’s so many things he’s doing that are unconstitutional. How are we going to get him out?”

Oh, how we wish this were true. But there's no concrete evidence that her words will prove prophetic, unfortunately.

I was worried that trump wasn't going to resign...because of all the other times I heard that he was, and then didn't.

I'll just sit here and hold my breath now while I wait for his imminent resignation.

What a relief.

More likely: if he's going to resign at all before his term is up, it will be because, despite all illegal activity to prevent it, he loses a 2020 re-election bid. Facing prosecution once he leaves office, he resigns in December 2020 or early January 2021, before the inauguration in any case. The interim president Pence immediately pardons Trump for all offenses committed, past and present, and he watches the inauguration from his gilded penthouse in Manhattan, a free and much relieved louse.

If he is still in office in January 2021, I hope and pray that the State of New York arrests him before he can get off the grounds.

and I thought now is a good time for such a discussion . Sometimes old news isn't really old. As senator Shumer said early on in the Trump administration ,the republicans will carry on the their nonsense until the wheels fall off the wagon. That's old news that holds true.

That article is two years old so either you are mocking Diane for being so utterly wrong, or you didn't read the date of the article. Either way, the title of your post is misleading.

How much does water weigh right ? Thinking about his words I thought that is what is happening all around Trump, total collapse. Beto compared Trump to an arsonist making it look like he is trying to put out the fire using gasoline. Did it seem he truly cared about the tragic fire being clueless to the circumstances involved ? Perhaps dementia ? If it has to be all about Trump than total collapse figures in. This old article rings more true right now. Sometimes old news isn't really old news.

What the speaker said in 2017 truly makes practical sense. But things don't always pan out as soon as we think is necessary. Sometimes we even speak ahead of time . The article struck me as fitting in the now.
