AOC Calls on Members of Congress to Respond to Trump's 'Explicit Attack' on Ilhan Omar

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called on members of Congress to respond to President Donald Trump‘s ‘explicit’ attack on Rep. Ilhan Omar on Friday night.

“Members of Congress have a duty to respond to the President’s explicit attack today,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote. “[ Omar’s] life is in danger. For our colleagues to be silent is to be complicit in the outright, dangerous targeting of a member of Congress. We must speak out.”

AOC was referring to a tweeted out video that interspersed Omar’s words with images of 9/11.

comments made by The Moron reg. Sept. 11. About how he lied, yet again, saying he gave all this money. Even profiting by defrauding the government.

And of course, the first thing too many of the rest of us then do - is forget that sorrowful lesson.

If anyone has the temerity to insult that infected human pustule in the White House, the gop traitors lock step in his defense.

This is an outrage. Where are our Democratic leaders?

When someone is harmed then we'll all hear about how we should have done more - once again.

This is how far right we've been dragged. Our moderates now look like radicals while their batshit crazy radicals are considered middle of the road.

as Trump? Do they dislike the woman enough to let Trump invade our hard fought stronghold to take down a voting member right in front of them?

Even the atrocious GOP will turn out enmasse to rally around their fallen brother, no matter what despicable act he has done. Can our party not find some cominality to unite against Trump's petty attack on one of their own?

The House quickly passed an "anti-Semitism and anti-Muslim discrimination" resolution just a few days after Omar was labeled an anit-semite for questioning the influence of an Israeli lobbying group over the GOP. A resolution SHE VOTED FOR, by the way.

Why are we not making a similar move for a resolution denouncing drumpf's actions, as we do for our own Democrat reps?
