"SNIP.....

“One of the things I do worry about sometimes among progressives in the United States… is a certain kind of rigidity where we say, ‘Uh, I’m sorry, this is how it’s going to be’ and then we start sometimes creating what’s called a ‘circular firing squad’, where you start shooting at your allies because one of them has strayed from purity on the issues. And when that happens, typically the overall effort and movement weakens.”

— Former President Barack Obama, quoted by The Guardian.

....SNIP"

2. Exactly. And nit picking is the start of dehumanization. Don't let it start.

We have a huge number of excellent people who have already committed to, or will shortly commit to running for president.
Obviously they will have different views on what is important, and how/why things should be done.
The situation is this:
That is a natural and normal approach to democratic government. The proper way to work with such a multiplicity of views on how to define and address the issues is through compromise...a process of synergy.
No two candidates will have exactly the same set of concerns since they all have grown up in different environments.
It is the central themes that come forth as the candidates "sell" their positions that results in a final determination of who is best to carry forward as the party's standard bearer.
This is a constructive process and should be a respectful process.
We are stronger when we pull together, and that can only happen if we are willing to bend a bit and flow with currents that may not exactly be heading in the direction that is ideal for each of us.
This is what Democracy is all about.
e pluribus unum
Out of the many, one.
Our voices need to join as one for the 2020 elections. That means we need to begin the process of harmonizing now.
Let Love be the guiding force of our movement from this day forward.
