Trump will do everything in his power to keep the Report from the Congress...

....and the American people.

He will not tell Barr to submit it to Congress, rather he will tell his allies in the Senate to continue blocking it. He does not want the evidence against him to go public. It would be too devastating.

Democrats will attempt to subpoena it but will not succeed, in my opinion.

We are watching the beginning of a cover-up.

I will be very surprised if we ever see the Mueller Report.

But we have Adam, Elijah, and Jerry on our team and they are very smart guys. There are avenues that they can pursue to get the report released to them.

You are right that Trumpy will do everything he possibly can to keep anybody from seeing it, but I think it will come out.

Have faith, kentuck!

I have run out of optimism. I am trying to face reality.

Also, I do not think Republicans will go along with an impeachment trial. I think we are stuck with this cover-up and stone-walling until the next election.

I hope I am wrong. I still have hope.

Here is what I believe. Robert's cares more about the legitimacy and the legacy of the supreme court. I do not believe he would side with the conservatives on this issue knowing that the implication is the court is totally partisan and meant to further conservative agenda and protect trump. I know he isnt an ally in the strictest definition but I do believe Robert's agenda falls in line with the will of the people on this issue.

to seize the PR initiative. And they scored a bullseye. It's hard to undue a "big lie" repetition which this has already become. The damage is already severe and the passage of time (if it ends up going to the courts) isn't going to help. I wish the "Gang of Eight" could somehow insert themselves into this and get a complete, unredacted copy. Of course, some patriot leaking to the press/general public would be great.

Barr is committed to produce some version of the report by mid April.

Let him. It's not going to be good news for Trump. Barr is already committed to deliver it.
So take what they give you. That keeps that part of the report out of court.

Then, they can go to court for two more hunks of the report:
1. Grand Jury - which precedent shows they're entitled to
2. Classified portions which they really should have already to protect the country

Somewhere along the way, they bring Barr & Rosenstein in to testify. After that, Bob Mueller.
At that point, a bunch of the bad story about Trump will be out. More folks will be concluding he was up to no good.

Then they'll have two things left to bicker over:
3. Leaving out parties who were not charged (maybe Don Jr, Ivanka, etc)
4. A pissed off Trump will probably invoke executive privilege so he can tie it up in court and they probably will have to sort that out by having a judge look it over - like Cohen's evidence for attorney-client privilege

Maybe they get that by initiating impeachment proceedings but more likely, more court.

This is going to unravel - probably when Mueller testifies. Mueller is going to explain that he gathered the evidence for Congress to assess - and effectively, Barr cut Congress off. etc. Mueler is not going to testify that they sat there for two years looking at "collusion" and found no evidence because if they were not finding evidence, they would have shut it down long before.

If the Grand Jury decides for the House to release All info they have, what options do Barr and tRUMP have? Could they STILL stop it? Does it go all the way to the Supreme Court, after GJ makes a decision? LOTS of questions i know! But just ONE answer will do, and that's BARR and tRUMP have NO OPTIONS if GJ decides to release info. TY in advance

The thing is: the more Trump keeps the report from the public, the more guilty rational people will perceive him. They've already his their high water mark with Barr's propaganda. It's all downhill for them.

"Hey public, want to see the report? Vote for Democrats!"

...they will understand that there was a vote in the House, 420-0, to make it public. They should take that vote again.

Then they should use that vote to slowly squeeze the report out of the White House.

If we see it at all, which is doubtful.

I think a great deal of evidence will have to be suppressed for "national security" reasons (aside from whatever there is that just generally confirms everything we already know regarding the character of Individual 1, my suspicion is that there's likely enough of this and that in the collected evidence such that a reasonable person might have to strongly consider the possibility that the reported results of the 2016 election were not legitimate...and so on).
