Donald Trump fails to receive a Barr Letter bump in YouGov poll

Today Donald Trump is at 39% among adults and 42% among registered voters.

He is usually around 40-41% among adults and
between 41 and 46% I’m on the registered voters in this poll.

It is not good news for Trump that all these positive headlines about the Barr letter failed to persuade the public into believing that he is no Putin puppet.

His new attempt to destroy Obamacare cannot be helping him either.

Not getting the same hit. Looks like Lord Littlehands is going to have to up the dosage.

I am pleasantly surprised and gratified that the media actually shifted their narrative. On Sunday, when the Barr eyewash letter came out, they obediently fell in behind Trump's unwarranted boast of total exoneration. In the days since then, though, some media outlets are practicing actual journalism, and noticing that the facts don't fit the narrative. This time, they're adjusting the narrative to conform to the facts: We haven't seen the Mueller Report, and Barr's summation raised a lot more questions than it answered.

This wasn't going to significantly change anything.

And like usual, and good will he may get at the margin will be erroded quickly as he tries to go after the ACA again, or does something else politically polarizing. Barring something really major in his favor, he's mostly going to hover in that mid 40's, high 30's range.

I was looking at polls earlier (like IPSOS) showing that around half still think he colluded and the majority want the full report released. Basically, the summary hasn't changed much either way for him like some have been hand wringing over, and the media focus.

Kind of like the whole "Rachel Maddow is falling in the ratings" crap.

1-2 day data swings do not trends make, no matter how Faux wants to spin it.
