It's time for the Democrats to play hardball with AG Barr...

They should give him an ultimatum. Either have the full report in our hands by a given date or face a subpoena. If they wish to take it to Court, then we are ready for that, also.

This does not need to drag on. We need immediate resolution. If Mr Trump is as exonerated as he claims, then he should speed up this process. People have heard enough of his bullshit.

asking questions. No criminal collusion is just great and dandy...but all this "non criminal" collusion stinks to high fucking heaven and if it's not criminal it should be and it looks like we need some new laws.

3. They have to ask first, then subpoena.

I know it sucks, but in order for the courts to uphold the subpoena, they have to follow protocol.

4. Do you want it fast or want a subpoena?

A subpoena will take months by the time is works through the courts - to be finally decided by SCOTUS which cannot be relied upon.

They ought to try to get it by agreement first.

5. Wouldn't that work in the Democrats favor?

If they tied it up for months instead of making it public so people could read it??

Give them to April 2nd, and if they don't have it, subpoena it.

6. You raise a question I've been pondering.

Wouldn't Trump be better served to get all this out sooner rather than later? If I was advising Trump (God forbid), I would want this out now so it wouldn't be in the news close to the election. Given the public attention span, if the full report is released now, it will be old news by November 2020.

That will make trump look good or at least fool his believers in to thinking it's the real thing.

But doesn't it seem likely that the real Mueller report will come out sooner or later? If so, wouldn't Trump be better served for it to come out now?

9. also get Rosenstein in there ASAP to confirm his role in the decisions Barr has published.

Barr is USING Rosenstein to lend credulity to his process.

I want to hear what Rosenstein has to say about that.

...the Republicans were ready to impeach Rosenstein if he did not turn over the records they demanded?

His job was in jeopardy several times.

Also, he was arguably the first victim in Trump abuse of power and obstruction crusade, when he was ordered to write up an excuse to fire James Comey.

I'm sure he has fond memories of Mr Trump.
