General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsThe GOP reps barely showed up for Cohen's testimony today.
Dem Rep Maloney just told Chris Hayes that the GOP was not interested in today's testimony and those who did show up began to slowly filiter out. Apparently since there were no news cameras the GOP couldn't grandstand and it wasn't worth their time.

My GAWD, how pathetic these cretins are looking. It's like lifting a rock and seeing all of the creepy bugs scramble.
And to think that they are counting on IQ45 to save their ass? He will be the first one to squish them like the despicable bugs that they are!

No?
I can but dream.
. . . at least they should hide the nuclear football from Trump, Vietnam will have put him in a really bad mood and prepared to do a Major Distraction to keep the Faithful entertained.

As the OP says, no grandstanding opportunities.
Cohen wasn't about to volunteer anything useful, and they are too dim to take up a fresh line of questioning.
They painted themselves into a corner by declaring all Cohen's testimony to be lies.
At the end of the day, there probably isn't anything but bad news for them anyway.
