His friendship with Trump seems to mostly stem from the fact that Trump (surprisingly, and completely out of character) apparently called him every week for a year after Kraft's wife died. I find that very strange, because Trump doesn't seem like that kind of a guy, but that's the story, at least, and if nothing else, it secured Kraft's loyalty, though it seems that the money Kraft gave to Trump was not for the election, but for the inauguration.

There was a very obnoxious Seattle sports figure (Mitch Levy) who was caught up in one of these rings, and lost his job. Now, his show was so awful that I called it "Misogynist in the Morning" and I'm not going to detail how nasty it was, but the details of the bust sound similar, someone who essentially had no reason to frequent such a place - good salary, wife, kids, seemingly on top of his game - did it anyway.

I think that the real story should be digging into these rings - who runs them, who's being victimized, how do they get advertised - not just bringing down the people who use them. They need to be wiped out of existence, and I think we also need to understand why these men who have no obvious reason to do so frequent them.

None of it makes sense to me, but clearly the market exists and people are being exploited and pretty much enslaved to fulfil it.

It appears they put hidden cameras in the spas. They then have to link the person nabbed on film with a real name. Then they have to get a prosecutor to charge them.

Takes time. Plus if they slow roll it, it has maximum impact. "was I caught" is probably running wild through southern florida. But they also mentioned other states, so this could get big quickly.
