Kim has already "won" this episode because getting a face-to-face meeting with the U.S. President has been a goal of the Kim family literally for generations. Trump's reckless disregard of America's foreign policy conferred instant credibility on Kim, provided succor to his murderous regime, and hurt immeasurably the cause of dissidents everywhere. Same thing happened with Dutarte of the Philippines and Erdogan of Turkey.
