(21,856 posts)attitudes between these two young men...one will go to Harvard and perhaps on later to greater things while the other is hiding behind his mommy and daddy and suing everybody that they can and blaming everybody else but themselves.
The Washington Post story didn't cause the permanent damage to the Covington Cath. HS student...he did this purely on his own, if you look at the video clips out there, no one forced him into the confrontation...he did solely on his own in attempting to show off to his buddies, no more and no less.

(83,324 posts)Yes he is suing, sounds like a true MAGA'ot. He takes no responsibility for his own actions. Just your typical rich kid.
Ugh!

(63,221 posts)David Hogg is an admirable young man. I believe he is going places.
The other whiny little punk, not so much.

(83,324 posts)The Covington ass. I don't even remember his name, he just is not that important to me. Look at his smirk. I am not a violent person, yet wish I could slap it off his face.
Now look at David. David's expression is haunted. The grief in his face clear, yet he will be part of the change we seek. That young boy became a man that day. He is our future.

(63,221 posts)Everytime I see that little Covington brat, I also have an overwhelming urge to slap that smirk off his face.
David Hogg is superior to him in every way. Kind of the difference between Trump and Obama. There is no comparing the two. One is so vastly superior to the other that it is an insult to even place them side by side.

He is one of the people we have been waiting for. The others will follow.

(6,007 posts)Cenk and Ana went into the details of that story this evening. The Supreme Court said you are not required to stand for the pledge of allegiance. Florida law says you don't have to stand. That school district says you don't have to stand. But when an 11 year old didn't want to the sub-teacher called the cops and they arrested him. Oh, not because he didn't stand, of course not, it was for resisting arrest or some such nonsense. Ah, Florida, still the same old BS.
An 11 year old, ELEVEN!, who never should have had the police called on him in the first place was arrested for resisting arrest.
The teacher should be arrested.

The tale of the difference between these two young men is the tale of the division in this country.
