Why does the GOP get two bites at the apple? It was an election RACE. In a race if you cheat you lose and 2nd place is declared winner. At very least GOP should pay state cost for 2nd election plus Dems cost to run second campaign. Also if there is a second election GOP should not be allowed to change candidate!

Remember when SCOTUS decided in Bush v Gore that a complete count of the vote wasn't necessary, they'd just appoint a winner? The only democracy can be by choice of the electorate.

Primary and generals will both be repeated, so the Republicans will have a chance to choose a new nominee if they wish one.

Btw, a majority apparently voted for Harris the first time. Would you really want him seated as a result of that first "bite"? Cook Report's initial rating for the new GE will be "toss-up."
