I think one reason the Russian hacking/influence was so accepted, or dismissed, in the later years of the Obama presidency is because the attacks were often coming from the left not just the right. There was a contingency of pro-Putin, or Putin sympathizers (or, at best, indifferent) DUers a few years ago who were very critical of Obama and his actions toward Russia.

I wonder how many of these people have changed their tune?
