But it would eliminate one drawback to having Amy, Elizabeth, Kamalah, Cory, Sherrod, or Merkley run: if any of them were to win, the Senate would have one fewer great senators.

There are enough potential and actual candidates to sort out with introducing "strawman" candidates. If Franken brings it up, then it would be worth the debate, otherwise whats the purpose.

The book told of many issues when he was on SNL thereby getting ahead of criticisms when he ever did run.

Lots of idiocy and fun and admissions of drug use when in that venue. His political awareness revved up as he came to know Wellstone and Wellstone's death propelled him into action.

No mention of inappropriate sex matters at all.

So those charges came out of the blue. I will never "get over" KG's leading role in denying him the due process he requested.

As I read his book, I had the strong feeling he planned to run for Pres. sometime in the future.

I wish he would reenter politics with a radio show like his Air America one.

behind the crusade to get Senator Franken to resign was to take out a possible rival candidate for the presidency. One of the many reasons I like Senator Klobuchar as a presidential candidate is the fact that she did not jump on the bandwagon demanding his resignation.
