I'm touched and quite overwhelmed! I'm guessing that it's because I've become more visible here since I started posting the late night comedians' political videos. As I've said before, I realize that not everyone stays up as late as I do - and after the advent of Trump and unrelenting news that depresses and appalls me, the late night humor is a welcome relief - so I decided that I needed to pay it forward...
I found DU in early 2003 just before the lead up to the Iraq War. Since then, DU has become a respite for me, I've learned so much from those who know more than I ever will, I've made friends here and DU has become my home. And for that, I've tried to give back - as a mod, then a host and on MIRT.
So I'd appreciate a small favor. I have an abundance of hearts and I love and value every one - but I wish I could pay them forward. I've tried, but I'm sure I've missed a few! So if you feel like giving me a heart, please join me in paying it forward instead. If you see someone who is lacking a heart or may have been overlooked, probably because they're new or don't post much, someone who participates in your favorite group, posts something you didn't know before or joins you in reccing a thread that means something to you - please pass on the DU fellowship that also means so much to me.
And thank you for all you do, each and every day!
