RUMPY'S think that's great! The whole fucking country falling apart and they see gas at $2.04 and they see NOTHING ELSE!!! Soooo fucking stupid they are!!!!!

(25,183 posts)and the payback period on my hybrid car has stretched out considerably. When I bought it six years ago, I figured gas was going to be $5-6 a gallon.
I never could pick stocks, either, that's why my 401K (and now converted into a rollover IRA) has been in money market funds for nearly all of the last ten years since I started the account. In January, I went into one of those funds that was supposed to be balanced for a 2020 retirement (I actually retired in 2017) and I lost over a thousand dollars in it before I pulled the plug.
