Bernie mania 2018 - feel the Bern!

https://news.yahoo.com/bernie-sanders-feel-bern-2020-202851088.html

“If there’s somebody else who appears who can, for whatever reason, do a better job than me, I’ll work my ass off to elect him or her,” Sanders said. “If it turns out that I am the best candidate to beat Donald Trump, then I will probably run.”

DNC panel adopts rule requiring candidates to run, serve as a Democrat
https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/391459-dnc-panel-adopts-rule-requiring-candidates-to-run-serve-as-a-democrat

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) adopted a new rule on Friday aimed at keeping outsider candidates like Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) from trying to clinch the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020.

The new rule, adopted by the DNC’s Rules and Bylaws Committee, requires all Democratic presidential candidates to be a member of the Democratic Party, Yahoo News reported.

A presidential candidate running for the Democratic nomination must be a member of the party, accept the Democratic nomination and “run and serve” as a member.

There will be other genuine Democratic candidates far more viable than Bernie.

And please, no Bern-splaining replies that tell me how I’m off-base, or how the greatness of Bernie will sweep the nation and overwhelm the Electoral College. I’ve been there, and the novelty has long since worn thin. On this matter I’m adamant.

Not that you're being serious here, but by virtue of your jokey argument, anybody who is not status quo who suddenly gets elected is automatically status quo and establishment. You could not elect the same non-establishment candidate a second time because you've made up a ridiculous criterion for judging what establishment means. You are welcome to that kind of definition, but it is rather semantic.
