(23,102 posts)only after the Mueller report is in. There is probably so much more we don't know at this time, like conspiracy with Israel, Saudi Arabia and UAE along with Russia, to steal the election. Let's hear the tapes, ,read the emails so everyone can see the sheer depths of his criminality and treason.

(3,259 posts)The Mueller Report. I'm not saying the final impeachable offence has to be something in the Report, but they will not impeach until it is released.
Come early next year Democrats will ramp up congressional investigations. I'm not sure people know how big of a deal this is. It will not take long for staggering information to flow out. Things the Republicans have been able to hide(this is one of the reasons damaging information will come out so quick. It's already there) and new investigations Republicans have been able to stop or simply not entertain.
This will all be happening at a time when I believe Mueller will be finishing his main report. We are already at a point where damaging information is coming out about Trump almost daily. Imagine when our party has more power over investigations and unearths new information on a daily basis. I don't think it will just be a Trump implosion. It will be a Republican implosion.

(22,037 posts)Have patience, mysteryowl.
Step back from the day-to-day insanity of this presidency and some big broad strokes become visible.
Trump's lawyer was convicted of felonies and he did it at the direction of Individual-1.
Trump's campaign chairman was convicted of felonies and will spend the rest of his life in prison.
Trump's assistant campaign chairman pled guilty to felonies and is cooperating with various investigations.
Trump's campaign advisor went to jail.
One of Trump's campaign's lawyers went to jail and will be disbarred.
Trump's National Security Advisor has pleaded guilty and is cooperating.
A dozen Russian nationals are under indictment for undermining our 2016 elections.
The Russian "honey-pot" who apparently was a connection to the NRA has been in jail and has agreed to a plea.
Of course, there's more. And there will be much, much more.
Robert Mueller and the other prosecutors have been down these roads before. They have tons of information we can only guess at but I am sure that we haven't seen even a small fraction of it. They're building their cases by working from the outside in and bottom up. One by one, Trump's associates are being removed from the chess board.
Trump sees this. It's why he panics on Twitter. The walls are closing in and he can't do anything for two reasons: first, he's an idiot and confesses everything in public. Second, his adversaries are far smarter than Trump and his clowns.
Trump is going down. Have patience.

(7,390 posts)January 2019 Impeach Trump!
The Mueller report, the congressional investigations... none of that stops his constant destruction of so many things.
We cannot wait any longer to remove him from office.

(7,390 posts)I fully understand what is going on.
I am having a morning of fury with Trump rant!
I mean no offense to any Duer. I think I will end my thread. I have had my venting.
I am will aware of all the logical points you are posting. I just want him out of office now. He has to be stopped.
It is so painful that we can't even stop him.

(22,578 posts)Why not wait for the Mueller report and other House investigations to solidify and confirm impeachment charges so it just doesn't appear that the Democrats are simply impeaching Trump because they have the votes to do so?

(22,578 posts)Just ask Bill Clinton.
Impeachment without conviction by the Senate does not stop anything.

(10,903 posts)Number one rule of leadership is to never call a vote until you are sure you can win it.
Until then, drag him over the coals in the House and expose everything. That's how you get the votes in the Senate.

(22,578 posts)and see Trump die a political death of a thousand cuts.
Bring him down brick by brick. If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right.
No smart prosecutor brings a case just because they can but waits until the have the strongest case possible.
