that MSMedia is complimenting Trump on behaving himself (so far) during the Poppy Bush funeral events? Somewhere in his dimwit brain a small light went off about all the bad press and unflattering comparisons he got about with McCain's death and funeral.
We expect dignity and graciousness from our presidents at such times. The content of Poppy's funeral drama is not Trump's saga. I want to see Trump be the first to offer his handshake to the Bush boys and wives without his aggressive pull backwards and off balance move.
Can he do it? We shall see.

(17,099 posts)would you accept Trump's handshake? After all the incredibly insulting things he said about Jeb during the campaign? I suppose for the sake of decorum and not wanting to spark a "scandal" during your father's funeral, Jeb would have little choice but to shake Donny's hand, but I doubt he'll look him in the eye and smile.

(10,252 posts)I would most certainly shake Trump's hand, because my Dad Poppy would expect me to be gracious, and I expect myself to be gracious. Graciousness and generosity of heart are virtuous. Being high-minded is good for its own sake.
