His actions were those of an egomaniac.

Too bad we can't get another egomaniac onto that island.

so sure... if no children

Nominees significantly improve the gene pool by eliminating themselves from the human race in an obviously stupid way. They are self-selected examples of the dangers inherent in a lack of common sense, and all human races, cultures, and socioeconomic groups are eligible to compete. Actual winners must meet the following criteria:

Reproduction
Out of the gene pool: dead or sterile.
Excellence
Astounding misapplication of judgment.
Self-Selection
Cause one's own demise.
Maturity
Capable of sound judgment.
Veracity
The event must be true.

by preventing his own procreation through stupidity, carelessness, or reckless behavior.

He qualifies for all three by going where he wasn't wanted, where he could cause harm to others through his actions, and where he had been explicitly ordered not to go; just to feed his egomaniacal need to get an evangelical notch in his Bible.

He will father no children like himself.

To him goes the Darwin Award.

The evil Vatican and Pope gave the Conquistadors the okay to commit genocide and kill ALL Aztecs if they refused to convert to be catholics. Spain need a method to control the population, and religion, especially catholicism, was the way to strike fear into the masses.

The popes couldn't get away with genocide nowadays, so they seem to be sticking to child rape for recreation at the moment.

to some organization that helps foolish young people who don't quite manage to kill themselves? Or to his parents. Last heard Indian authorities haven't been able to collect his body, but eventually it'll probably be shipped home and expenses will be considerable.

Or maybe religion was his drug.

If he'd been some random junky who'd OD'd on fentanyl we wouldn't know his name.

I don't respect the people who encouraged him.
